The Day Before developers respond to rumors: "We did not cheat players" and that all promised content was delivered

After the official shutdown of The Day Before, developer Fntastic tweeted today to address rumors about the game.

Fntastic first clarified that they did not cheat players or investors' money, and have been operating honestly for 5 years. The Day Before did not collect money from players through crowdfunding or pre-orders, and even refunded all players after the shutdown. On the other hand, they still maintain a good relationship with the publisher, and the failure of The Day Before did not break them apart.

Fntastic believes that The Day Before has realized all the content shown in the trailer, from decoration, the open world to off-road vehicles, only because of bug issues, running and other minor functions were disabled, and they plan to add them in the full version.

Fntastic also mentioned that after the game was shut down, many players wrote to them saying that they really liked the game, but were misled by malicious bloggers, and hoped that the game could be reopened. Fntastic said that they did not make any money, but these traffic bloggers made a lot of money.
